Do we really need this if we use Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is a great foundation, but its default settings leave gaps — MFA isn't always enforced, advanced phishing protection is often unlicensed, and there's no backup of your data by default. Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed certification covering five basic controls. It's increasingly required to win public-sector and larger private contracts, and it reassures clients you take security seriously.
